are you sure its caffeine and not the added sugars, and simple, overabundant carbs that are in many sodas? Diet is worse than regular pop as it depletes calcium from the body.
How about staying away from both? Drinking water or something alternative that is not loaded with junk? Vitamin waters and such are generally a joke. The body just gets rid of extra water soluble vitamins in the urine which is what is in most "vitamin waters"
