Treating Deep Acne With Accutane?

Recently I've been considering going on Accutane to treat these deep red marks (most aren't raised at all or are barely raised)

I've tried many things in the past, including

-virtually every OTC product

-Proactive

-benzoyl peroxide

-tretinoin cream

-tretinoin gel

-tazorac cream

-clindamycin

-aczone (dapsone)

-doxycycline

-minocycline

-microdermabrasion treatment

and have been to several dermatologists, which is why I'm thinking Accutane is the only option left.

Currently, I'm using a BP wash twice a day, 5% Aczone Gel (dapsone) in the morning, and .01% tretinoin gel in the afternoon, and I just finished a month of doxycycline but I'm choosing not to continue because I hate taking antibiotics because they just make my acne worse in the end and they can have bad side effects when used long term.

I can generally keep my pimples down to 2 or 3 at a time with this regimen, although I'm currently breaking out a ton, presumably because I just stopped doxycycline. Keep in mind, this amount is still not optimal as I constantly have acne all over my face even though I continue to use such a strong skin care regimen. Which is why I would like to try Accutane.

So I would like your opinion, should I go on Accutane? Will it treat the deep red marks/acne scars in addition to my active acne?

Accutane works by reducing testosterone and shrinking the size of your sebaceous glands. Both of these factors curb oil production so you don't get clogged pores and acne.

It's not going to do anything for red marks.
