Hi. I've been feeling pretty good about my acne lately, but recently a friend made a joke about how oily my face was and that it was like someone was frying chips on my face or something like that. I just made a joke back and it was all good but it got me thinking about why my face is so oily and what i can do to prevent it. I am naturally pretty sweaty guy and i think that is linked to the oil that builds up on my face. is there any sort of over the counter medicine or ordinary products that would help reduce my excess oil? Thanks

is youre issue just oil? Like you dont have acne to worry about? if oil is youre worry i would really advise you talk to youre dr. or see a derm (They really can help you). Hey atleast when you are 90 yrs of age your skin will look like a baby. good luck

Ive never had that issue- well before accutane i had moderate oily skin- now its dry as a bone sadly. Anyways Derms arent just used to help acne. They Do eyelashes, Nails, Hair, Face hyperpigmentation, Moles (signs of cancer), and anything to do with the skin. I would see one if A) you have an insurance. But if you go to a normal dr (if you have one for yearly checkups) just ask them and they can refer you to one if needed.
