It's been a week and a half and my acne nodules have still not gone away! I got 5 of them all at once from fertility treatments I am on. This is the longest it's taken for zits to go away. They were very deep under the skin, some were so deep you couldn't tell they were there until you touched them. Is it normal for nodules to stick around this long. They're shrinking a little but VEEEERY slowly.
At least yours is shrinking, although slowly. I've had this bruise-like noticeable bump (scarring from a bad acne) on my cheek for 2 months and it's sore to the touch. No matter what I do it just won't go away! I'm not picking or touching it, and I have relatively okay skin. I've been applying benzoyl peroxide to it in hopes that it will help shrink a bit but it just looks as though something punched me. It seems to be getting worse, not better, and even the little bit of cover-up I try to apply to diminish the look of it isn't helping. I'm starting to get very frustrated,disappointed, and I'm losing hope. I don't want it on my face forever!
