Hi

For the past year I have been dealing with bad outbreaks of acne and have tried many prescriptions such as lymecycline, epiduo, duac, and none of them have worked, so last month I got referred to see a dermatologist with the intention of going back on accutane for the second time. But last week I went on holiday and had a lot of exposure to the sun and my spots have pretty much cleared up. THere are still small outbreaks but nowhere near as bad as before. I am worried that the dermatologist will not put me on accutane. Will I be able to go on it even though spots are not bad at the minute, because I know for a fact in two months time I will start breaking out badly again?

Thanks

If I were you I'd just tell him what has gone on, and then maybe show a picture or something for proof.

I'd suggest laying off accutane. I've seen a few friends go in an out of it and it becomes expensive and a hassle and the results are not permanent. I would suggest going up into a natural method of ridding yourself from acne. It's way more powerful and will benefit not just your skin but your whole body and your brain, which is your super computer. Chemicals just slows us down and makes us docile and sterile. None of us can afford to harm our bodies now a days, it's important to treat our bodies properly so we can live life to the fullest.

Massive love,

Eric

I am still looking for the right spot to post this in. But I have taken Accutane. It did nothing but dry me out. I actually looked better on the antibiotic they put me on before taking Accutane. I had acne in HS and have dealt with it majorly as an adult. Getting it in hairline, behind ears, jaw, forehead, cheeks. I always, always had some kind of nut bar in my bag for snacks and that inevitably skipped lunch. I have bought about every skin care line for acne out there. Since I have quit eating nuts, my skin is clear. I won't even wash my face some nights and fall asleep with my makeup on. Sin, sin, sin, but wake up with clear skin still. My face started breaking out yesterday the cysts that hurt, two on my cheek, one on my chin, one under my chin. They hurt. Thinking I didn't eat any nuts. Oops, I had two checkout register bags of peanut M&Ms this week. Peanut M&Ms shouldn't count for my acne. They are my favorite. It may not help you, but I would have sworn that I had no problems with nuts, but that is what worked for me truly. I have been so embarrassed by my skin for years and not wanted to look at anyone directly. I will even leave the house without makeup now. I still want my peanut M&Ms, though.
