Hi!

I never had serious problems with my skin but ... everytime a stressful event occurs (I've got an exam in 2 days!) ... I systematically get something on my chin or between the eyebrows.

I'm not sure if it's a pimple, irritation or anything ... I've attached a picture.

What would you do? Just wait for it to go away?

I'm pretty sure it's due to stress (still I have to understand how the two things may be linked!)

By the way, I'm 19. Is it normal to still have such problems?!

Please help ..

Thanks! smile.png

If that's as bad as it gets for you, leave it alone. Everyone gets pimples once in a while but 1 pimple does not constitute an acne problem.stress could be a culprit but as i said, if that's as bad as it gets, i wouldn't stress about it.

The relationship between stress and acne is not very clear, however, it is definitely present and should be considered as a contributing factor in the battle against acne. The reason is that stress makes the adrenal gland work more than usual. The adrenal gland produces androgens (male sex hormones) and higher levels of androgens can lead to more acne. The best option is to try and remove the stress from your life. As long as you dont do too much, exercising is an excellent way to reduce your stress levels.

I hope this would help.

Okay, thanks for the information.

Today it turned into a small whitehead... I'm afraid to pop it as I don't want to cause more damage.

Is there anything that can speed up the healing process? I read about zinc oxide cream.

Thanks
