tiny little whiteheads like bumps which have red(inflamed) bases.
picture : I KNOW THEY DON'T SEEM ANYTHING BIG BUT THERE ARE SO MANY SOMETIMES AND ALMOST ALWAYS , ALL OVER THAT THEY DO BOTHER.
post-200657-0-17140500-1371911650_thumb.
spread over my forehead, cheeks and around the nose area(mostly the area which has huge pores).
i get them all the time and they do go way earlier or later(sometimes in days or weeks).
i apply faceclin(clindamycin + nicotinamide) gel on them twice a day as spot treatment.
and use my salicylic acid foaming face wash(1% and pH balanced) twice daily before and after bed.
plus,
i wash my face without cleanser (JUST SPLASH WATER) about 3 times through out the day - for instance before application of topical gel or after dancing/exercising etc.
any idea the cause and treatment for this?
do u think this has something to do with diet OR hormones??
could they be for pores(clogges or otherwise)?
(i have huge pores too)
here:post-200657-0-42271500-1371911558_thumb.
is there a way (be it through diet OR any kind of practice) that would improve the state?
(i get these all over suddenly at times)
thanks.

Those kinda look like milia (or milk spots) - I get those under my eyes. I tried squeezing one out before with no luck at all. You can get them extracted by a derm.

Not sure if those are milia though. Probably not, since they're inflamed. Possibly just tiny pustules? :S

milia are hard and i dnt think they are milia because their bases are reddish.

they are like a tiny zit with all its features just small small small in size.

If you extract them, is it a liquid or a hard piece of sebum? They kind of look like what I occasionally get if I use too much SA after not using it for a while or over overexfoliate. If they are liquid, then they usually go away in a day or two. If they are hard sebum clog (what I have a handful of) they takes weeks to go away. I have not figured out whats causing or how to stop these yet.

i have never tried extracting anything.

i always leave things alone.

so am not completely sure but i dnt think i will see pus even if i tease the place.

its probably hard stuff.

but its not a typical whitehead for the base is red(the picture isn't clear.i dont have a super good camera) and the area around the base too looks like one around a zit.u know reddish and almost inflamed.

is that the case with u?

as for SA,i use it everyday(twice).

just 1% present in my daily wash.

No, mine are not red at the base unless they are a whitehead that will clear on its own in a few days. If its a sebum plug, in my experience those can last a long time, like months. I had to get them professionally extracted to finally clear those. But my clogged pores don't ever get red unless they get infected (which happens very rarely only if its left there for a long time)

I had those clogged pores for about 2 months. It took a lot of patience for them to go away. I've been researching everywhere on forums and website. Mines were bigger than yours. Nevertheless, they were bumpy and colorless. They made my skin rough and sandpaper like when I touch it. Anyway, I tried olay microdermbrasion. I believed it has helped somewhat. The bumps are gone/ becoming smaller. I also use 5% BP gel.
