My brother was experiencing minimal acne just like yours around the jawline and nothing seemed to work. The dermo said that it is common for males who are sexually active to experience mild acne around neck and jaw. So my bro went to an herbalist because he isn't giving up sex and the herbalist told him to buy rosemary capsules...it cleared him up relatively quickly. Maybe that's your case...how often do you have sex/masturbate?
Maybe. I haven't been diluting it, but I will try again. The Tea Tree Oil hasn't really had a noticeable effect on my skin, I think it maybe helped one or two pimples at most but I have a big one on my jawline and I put tea tree and it actually made it more ripe and poppable.
That should mean that the pimples' process is being excellerated. The tea tree will shorten the time of a pimple but some pimples will have to come to more of a head before they heal. All the junk inside the pimple has to come out so it sounds like the tea tree is doing its job. You just got to see the pimple at its worst sooner than you would have otherwise.
There looks to be less redness and those active clusters on your cheeks are a lot less. Those pics show improvement from previous ones. I was impressed when I looked at all the pics and afterwards I read what you wrote. You are the only one who can see all the details we can't.
Does your skin feel healthy/normal?
If you are using un-diluted tea tree on spots with a Q tip that should be fine. But if you are putting it un-diluted all over your face, don't! There is a such thing as too much of a good thing. Even if you wet a cotton ball and use just a drop of the tea tree it will be effective.
If you haven't been using it all over and just on spots, do not expect overall facial improvement. You have to use it all over in order for it to really make a difference in your complexion.
My mom has been making my toner ad using tea tree oil since the beginning of July. She does not have any acne or problems breaking out at all but is concerned in keeping her skin healthy and young looking for as long as possible. Her skin has improved sooo much. She loves it. It is so soft and smooth and less red/even toned. I'm embarrassed to say my 50 year old mom has prettier skin than I do! So even without battling imperfections, I have seen this stuff do great things when used in moderation all over
I know so many people have said this already, but you have nice skin. Honestly anything you do have looks so minimal... You could actually be making it worse by STRESSING about it. I would continue what you're doing, just using gentle products for your skin. I would kill for the amount of clear areas that you have!
Your acne looks mild from the pictures. You have a few red spots that i would probably treat with Mario Badescu acne drying lotion or use Nexus 3m acne dressing covers. These worked really well on clearing minor breakouts that I have had. I also think that retinoids are too irritating on acne prone skin. Don't stress over the tiny little noninflammed bumps because they will go away on their own but if you keep putting harsh rx medications it will just get worse which has been my experience. I left a bunch of noninflammed bumps alone and they went away in about 6 months. The ones that I kept treating with Retinoids (Retin A micro, differin,etc..) kept coming back and some became papules,etc...
Hope this helps.
You DO NOT need to see a dermatologist and you DON'T need to be using all kinds of different products on your face, it can cause irritation. Your skin is very healthy looking and nice, and your pimples are small and will go away within a couple of days. I wish I had your skin.
Does anyone think moisturizer should be added to this regimen? So far, I've seen improvement, I still have the big pimples but for the most part they've been quiet and it's been only small under-the-skin pimples, and I get rather oily. CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion? It's only 12 bucks at Walgreens.
I have blackheads and my overall face seems to just have clogged pores all over.

I understand. I've seen all the comments saying my skin is nice, etc. It does help my confidence and make me feel better. But I'm more concerned about why nothing I do helps much. The red marks are really the biggest problem, and I always have clogged pores and my cheeks are just a mess sometimes.

Update : So, my skin is relatively clear, I have one pimple that for some reason hurts like hell. My nose gets these weird red spots that aren't exactly pimples. I've still been using Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser with Cotton Extract, Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Tea Tree Oil directly on pimples. The only obstacle I need to get rid of are the red marks on my cheeks, but everytime I think about it I always notice there are still either pimples there or bumps.
Looking at my very first post, I wish I could go back to that skin.
