Hello :) I am 16 years of age, male 5'5" and 120lbs, over a span of roughly 9 months my acne has gotten worse due to several factors.

1. I left my high maintenance life style ( going to the gym once or twice a week, diet consisted mainly of water, tea, fish l, fruits and vegetable.. very rarely pork and beef and sleeping very early). I left that because my friends are so carefree and I felt left out ( I only have a couple of ane then.. like really really mild)

2. I started working in kfc... Im always sorrounded by grease and I ate the product 5 days a week.. stupid move .. i know :/

I quit my job a month ago but the aftermath is still here ... my acne got really bad.

Anyways.. my question is.. why do I have a high maintenance body and will I ever get a chance to be as care free as my friends? Doing the high maintenance thing really works but it takes alot out of me and my time

The first picture is me doing the "high maintenance" thing and the 2nd is me now. I know it seems that nothing much has changed but I did gain more acne.. maybe there's something wrong with the lighting on the 2nd picture or something.. sorry. anyways thanks for any future response.

You seem to have sensitive skin !

Constant heat, eating unhealthy food, acne prone skin can cause this !

All you can do is to go back to your diet and lifestyle, visit a dermatologist to give you the right products for your skin and wait for the results.

I feel what your going through. I had a really bad lifestyle with bad habits long before i developed acne. Im guessing yours (as well as mine) is hormonal because we both got it in the teenage years.

Now, even if i exercise, eat healthy (lots of fish, chicken, vegetables, fruits, nuts, no dairy etc) i still notice little to no difference. At the same time I can't keep on doing my old unhealthy habits. Even if i drink some alcohol and have a few cigarettes during a party I feel really bad the day after because my acne has gotten worse, while my friends are just care-free and probably never had that thought.

It's like a no win situation.. and that really makes me nuts. I just hope the hormones will even out with age and i don't have to be as strict with everything. Eventhough im into eating natural stuff.

good luck with everything :)

I feel your pain, why I have to do highly controlled diet, exercise, skin care and supplement regimen. Any misstep, and acne may get worse :D My advice, since your still a teen is just enjoy life, smile more and have a positive mindset. Remember, appearances are only skin deep, it is how we see things in our life that is more important and worthy of pursuit.

Hope that helps :)
