Hey, I'm so completely frustrated I'm hoping somebody can help. I have suffered with moderate acne since i was 13 or 14 and it's progressively gotten worse. I know this is common but i've literally tried everything: all the face washes and systems (proactiv, clean and clear, acne free), birth control, antibiotics like tetracyclin, prescriptions like epiduo, and high benzyol perozide washes. NOTHING WORKS
I'm almost 18 years old
I don't drink, i don't smoke. I eat extremely extremely healthily.
I am moderately active.
i always read the things "not to do" to prevent acne and i dont do anything "wrong" im so lost i just want to know what im doing wrong so i can stop. My skin makes me so depressed i never want to do anything i just want to cry.
Hey caseybalamut... I also had the same problem as you. I had acne for 4 yrs and I tried everything there was for acne until finally my derm prescribed me accutane...Its literally cleared up my skin. My acne was reeeaallyy bad and it was so persistent that it didn't clear up with anything. I'm currently on month 5 of the 6 month course and my skin has never felt smoother 
But it depends on the severity of ur acne so ask ur derm/ gp if u shud take accutane
