i got a normal pimple and it just went away normally.. but now there's a red bumpand i think pus is trapped in it.. how can i get rid of this? there's no head and its PAINLESS. I put bp on it to make it come to a head..

It looks like a bumpy dark spot.. its been there for like one week.. SHOULD I LEAVE IT ALONE OR TREAT

Just leave it alone especially is there is no visible head.

Keep applying Bp .

Although for me Sulfur works best.

i stopped putting BP because i thought it would dry out more and slow down the healing.. i think i have an infected pore.. its like blood or pus trapped in.. but no pain... do you know what this is?? smile.png

on my back, if i pop a big spot and i look at it afterwards there usually is what you described, just like a red spot filled with weird pus, if i squeeze it again blood comes out and pus but then it goes.

also usually have blood on my t-shirt but meh i dont go out much anyway.

I should probably leave them which is why i have so many on my back, but hey hope i helped.

Just treat it with BP. The BP will stop any more infection forming or will treat it quickly if it does form. The bump could be due to the body just sending lots of blood to the area to fight the infection though so dont worry about it, you arent gunna die! Just BP that s*** and itl go away eventually. :)

Leave it alone. Simple. Your immune system will do its job, if you let it. Don't cover a single spot in too much BP, you could cause more damage than good. You could dry it out so much that it could scab over, fall off and scar. A nice little hole left in your face by piling on benzoyl peroxide.

Trust me. In the past I spot treated with tons of BP and it only caused more damage than good. If you have an active pimple, sure, put a light coat of BP on it...but if you assume something is infected, no.
