Hey,
My family recently booked a holiday for summer (august) my acne is much better than it used to be but my skin is extremely red and I have tonnes of scarring, my scarring is not really marks in my skin they are basically just red and I have absolutely no idea how to get rid of them. If anyone can advise any really good creams for these red marks then please help!
Anyway, I'm really nervous about having to remove my makeup, I know it sound shallow and silly but I only every take off my makeup in front of my family, bestfriend (who has acne) or boyfriend. When I don't wear makeup I just feel so self concious even though I know others have acne which is much worse than my own. I feel like everyone is thinking my skin is disgusting and they will presume I just don't wash my face when it's actually the complete opposite!
also, I'm afraid that sunscreen will irritate my skin and make me break out and make my skin all oily looking... aaaand, will the sun improve the appearance of my scars and acne or make it worse?

You should not feel paranoid to take your makeup off infront of anyone!! Seriously. I wear no makeup to school or at home. I want to be
comfortable in my skin even though I do have have acne. Also since your going on hoilday the sun will make your marks go darker so just slap on some sunscreen
cause it prevents the sun making marks darker. It will not ruin your skin or anything just a get a good brand ok?

thanks i wish i was that confident not to wear makeup to school, I actually hate makeup and it's such an effort! :/ okay ill get sunscreen for sensitive skin or something i think

Try using Neutrogena Liquid Sunscreen SPF70... It blends well under makeup and doesn't dry with a white film like other sunblocks... Though I know you like to wear makeup and feel subconscious without it, you may want to consider foregoing using makeup while on holiday... Give you skin an opportunity to breath and embrace your imperfections... Remember that you are a more harsh critic of yourself then anyone else, so STOP JUDGING YOURSELF!! You're beautiful no matter what others say...

thanks for the tip i'll take your advice 🙂 and yeah I'm not going to wear makeup on holiday im just praying i dont break out horribly while im there.. that would just not be helpful! haha 🙂 thanks! xx
