I always had oily skin as a teen, but it wasn't out of control, like if I washed my face twice a day and used a couple of blotting sheets, my skin would stay smooth and flawless, had like 2 micro-pimples in high school. I also had one of those friends growing up where you would also look to insult one another (most of us have one of those friends). Anyway, he had bad acne for most of his life starting in high school and I remember every now and then I would go after his acne as a dig. One time I got lazy in the summer and gained some noticeable weight and he was quick to call me fat face and I was quick to call him pizza face.
Now before y'all attack me, know that I didn't go out of my way to pick on kids with acne, in fact I never did, any time I made a dig at someone's acne, it was that friend and friend only. 5 years later, I'm on a member on acne.org lol. My oily skin has been getting out of control over the years and nothing keeps it at bay anymore, and although my acne was never severe, I get those persistent bumps almost every day, and as soon as they go away, new ones emerge. My condition is sort like Johnny Manziel, the recent Heisman winner.
Maybe it's Karma, but I still can't say my friend didn't deserve any of it lol. One thing is for sure though, if and when I clear up completely, I vow to never go after someone's skin problem ever again no matter what they throw at me.
