My right cheek is always getting pimples especially when my period is approaching.. there's this particular cluster of pimples on the side of my right cheek that never seemed to heal. They don't hurt at all when I press on them, aren't really that red.. They are very small, less than half of a pinky fingernail in size but I can feel them. There are about 4 on the same spot and feels bumpy. The pimples in this area tend to flare up randomly and don't come to a head, and then settle down and become smaller, but there are still bumps underneath. I can't seem to get rid of them!! They have been there for MONTHS!! I've tried BP, exfoliating, popping them (to no avail because they never come to a head) etc... still they are there.. I think I might have a lot of dormant acne because when I get new pimples they always come to a head and go away but these pimples never come to a head :( please help..

Maybe consider a chemical peel. Or do you own any AHA at home? 10% AHA would definitely help.

I don't own AHA unfortunately. Where and how can I get this?

You can order 10% AHA off this website. I buy Neostrata products from Shopper's. The products come in 4% 8% and 10% strengths. Also some of them have built in SPF which is a bonus. AHA = glycolic acid.

I'd definitely suggest asking derm for a prescription for an antibiotic such as doxycycline. I use veltin (similar to ziana) and take antibiotics and have no more acne. Totally know what u mean by dormant. Antibiotics will destroy the bacteria thr is stuck under the skin and the pimples won't even surface. Beware though - with my cysts antibiotics got rid of them but left scar :/
