Hey i am so excited to try out you regimen! Does it matter what probiotic it is or your think the colon one works best? I have been suffering with cysts for about two years now and moderate pimples every where on my face since I was 14, except my nose and the sides of my face and hardly on my jaw line. I was using my dermatoligist prescribed meds tazorac, doxcycline, and clindamycin and eventually they stopped working after 9 months no suprise there since every chemical i have used to treat acne eventually stops at a certain period where my tolerance has been fully developed. Since october my face has gotten progressivly worse I decided to stop the meds and just wash 2 times a day for a week and it made no difference. I had a prescription for tretinoin from my dermatolgist since my insurance was cancled and its a cheaper off brand product. I have been using it for about a month and i know my skin is supposed to get worse before better with acne meds but I do see improvement FOR NOW. I know I am going to clear up but its goin to take a while and eventually I will need another chemical with a different active ingredient to treat my skin. My grandpa suggested that being regular lol would most likely clear my skin up....I am far from regular and I am struggling to fix that problem with prunes lol. I think your regimen is more than worth a try since I am struggle in the area of colon health as well. Another thing is getting advice about acne from people who dont have it is obnoxious and pretty much everyone around me doesnt have it. Hopefully soon I can get the money to buy up the pills and supplements you suggested its far more cheaper than acne meds. Let us know how it goes when you hit the year marker with your regimen and post a pic surprised.gif

ok, i have a question for you spriorda: I am 29, female and have suffered from cystic acne before. I have some colon cleanse that i'm willing to use, my mother gave it to me. I don't really have the money right now to go and by a probiotic suppliement right now, HOWEVEr, i do eat yogert every day, and have been doing this for the past 2-3 weeks now. I was wondering if that will help if i continue to eat a yogert every day? Also i'm taking omega3 fish oil, which i've researched a lot on and heard that they help with cystic acne and inflamation caused by acne. I also take a prenatal vitamin which even tho i am not pregnant it provides me with the proper amount of zinc, vitamins A, D, B, iron and so on. In your opinion do you think those are sufficient enough to help with what you achieved?

Thank you in advanced!

This sounds interesting. I might try it. However, I have some questions. Since I live in Sweden I can't really get the exact same stuff as you.

As far as fiber supplements I just got myself some fiber supplement at the pharmacy. Fiber pills as fiber pills.

Continuing, with the Probiotic supplements, I found the pharmacy has something called Multi-tabs Imumax;

13vitamins,7minerals,antioxidants(C, E,Zinc,Selenium)and 1 billionprobioticbacteria (LGG).

Contains no lactose, gluten and milk proteins.

I hope you could help me out. I believe what I just showed you looks pretty simular to what you use in your regime?

THe vitamin-pills I can just get at any grocery store.

I do not suffer from cystic acne, I have more red marks and some few spots. However, my skin tone is not the best either. Do you think this could help wiht my red marks, skin tone and few acne spots all together.

edit: I thought of adding omega 3 to the diet to cleanse the liver? Could I benefit from that.

Could one take oral antibiotics along with the rest of these? For example, I've been on antibiotics for years because of a non-acne issue so I have to take them, but I'm interested in giving supplements a shot to finally kick the last of my acne.

Okay, I'll def try it. I don't have cystic acne though but I'm sure this will work great on the small pimples i do get. How long till you start seeing results?..Right now I only have one tiny pimple, so I'm not so much trying to clear my skin but keeping it clear so should i expect this to start happening right away?

Hey yeah it should defiantly help improve your skin. Prevention is the key to fighting acne.

Can you describe the fiber pills you are using? How many grams per serving? How many soluble and insoluble grams? I tried a fiber powder that contained 3g of soluble fiber per serving and no insoluble fiber. It seemed like it was working, but then I started getting insomnia, so I had to stop taking it. I was thinking my insomnia could have been caused by the soluble fiber.

Hey the fiber is insoluble and I 6 pills is around 12% of my daily recommended fiber intake. I think its like 3g.

Could one take oral antibiotics along with the rest of these? For example, I've been on antibiotics for years because of a non-acne issue so I have to take them, but I'm interested in giving supplements a shot to finally kick the last of my acne.

Yes you can take antibiotics on this regimen. But, the antibiotic might kill off the probiotic, but if you get a probiotic supplement with like 20 billion Colony forming units you should be fine. The fiber no doubt is going to be helpful.

What you purchased sounds great!! I wish we had a probiotic/multivitamin here in the states that would be spectacular haha. Everything you purchased should work. The fiber helps cleanse the colon and liver resulting in a much better skin tone. Fish oil is okay. It reduced my inflammation but it caused my skin to get really oily so I decided to stop it. But some people may have more success than others. I would give it a shot.

Hey, I truly understand your constant struggle. Yes the regimen is cheap. It has worked nicely for me. Hopefully it can help you as well. Some things you may wish to try: 8+ hours of sleep, lots of water, and cut out sugary foods. Also exercising is great. That has been my primary concern for a while now. If you have anymore questions please let me know!

Sounds like your on the right track! Don't fret buying the things all at one time. I understand they get a little pricey ( believe me i know!!). The colon cleanse will be great for your body! It really does make all the difference. Look at someone with clear skin for example. Their skin is so clear because their body processes food really well. Other people can't process their diet as well and it all pours out into the skin. Good luck and let me know if you have anymore questions!

Really? I never thought that was a cause of acne to be honest. The reason I take the "One a Day Multivitamin's" is because they contain NO iodine. Iodine is the problem with a lot of peoples hormonal acne. I wouldn't worry too much about the soy.

Yea a while ago I saw an esthetician and she told me that the soy milk I was drinking was contributing to my acne because soy raises your hormones therefore causing more oil/acne etc..I was using one a day for like 10 yrs but stopped after I heard that. I don't know I'm so confused .

Hellooooo,

Your regimen sounds interesting and I'm glad it worked wonders for you! I want to try this out but money's a bit tight so I was wondering if I could just leave the probiotic part out? I already have a multivitamin in my regimen as well as fish oil so would just adding the fiber supplements be okay? Thank you in advance!

Hey great to hear you want to try to regimen! As far as the probiotic, it doesn't have to be anything special. I was using the Phillips Colon Health probiotic but it was 17 dollars for a month. Too much for me now! So instead I am using just a simple probiotic with 2 billion organisms. Cost me 4.99 from Trader Joes. If you don't use a probiotic you could simply just eat more yogurt, but then again dairy causes acne haha. If you didn't undergo a course of antibiotics I wouldn't worry too much about the probiotic. Good luck.

Well to be honest everything raises hormone levels. Simply getting stressed out raises hormone levels. I'd rather intake soy than intake iodine. One A Day's is a great multivitamin supplement. When I stopped using it for a few days my acne got way worse. So I will continue to take it. Good luck!

Hi! Let me first say your story is very inspirational and I decided to try your regimen. I got a good probiotic from GNC that has 25 billion bacteria and I believe 5 or 6 cultures. I've been taking them for 5 days along with the fiber and my face already is looking better. :}

I'm kind of worried though, I stopped taking my bc 2 days ago because my hormones have been crazy along with my skin. I'm really trying to be healthy and injesting hormones is not. I just hope that this will not cause a bad break out, but since the bc was actually making my skin break out worse you would think it would get better if I stopped taking it. Who knows. haha

I have a question for you?

Did you change your diet at all, because if you have a bad diet, it makes the digestive process harder and puts more toxins in your intestines. Or did you eat healthy to begin with?

Hey its great to hear that someone else is trying the regimen!! Yeah after 5 days my skin started to look really good too! its crazy. Your on the toilet a lot more haha but its defiantly worth it!! I wouldn't know too much about birth control just because I am a guy. From what I heard it balances hormones or whatever. So wouldn't that be a good thing? I have no idea lol I'm not a girl.

As far as my diet, yes I did change it up a bit here and there. I cut out dairy for a period of time but still had acne so I continue to eat it when I eat it. I don't splurge on ice cream and candy like I used too. No more sodas or high fructose snacks. Just kind of a simple diet. I go to the gym a lot so I take in a lot of protein. I think too much protein can cause acne so I try to keep it at a minimum. Also, I try to drink a lot more water and stay away from sugary drinks. Changing your diet MIGHT HELP but likely it will only make minor differences.

As long as your body can properly dispose of the toxins thats all that truly matters.

If you have anymore questions feel free to message me!

Good luck.

I'm really excited to try this! At this point I'm pretty desperate with my moderate/severe acne, but this definitely sounds worth the cost. *fingers crossed*

I do have one question though:

When you say "take the multivitamin & 1 probiotic at the same time after you consume a meal," do you mean with EVERY meal, or just, like, once a day?

Thanks so much, I hope this really works in combination with a new washing routine :) The positive feedback gives me hope at least!

Hey glad to hear you are going to try the regimen! The Multivitamin you take once a day along side the probiotic. If you wish to take another probiotic just simply add it to one of your other meals over the course of the day. And I know exactly what you mean, acne is the devil's work haha.

Good luck and just message me if you have any more questions!

I'm really interested in trying this, as everything else I've tried for the past seven years doesn't seem to be working. Topicals aren't doing the job 100% and every antibiotic I've tried either doesn't work, quits working after a while, or gives me horrible side effects, so this looks like a great route to take at this point.

I'm currently trying to go off of Minocycline because the side effects are fucking ridiculous (in my case atleast), and I'm currently taking 3 natural vitamins that this weird doctor told me to take because she said it would fix my acne in a couple of months, well....a couple of months is kind of a long time (Especially since I'm going off of Minocycline, so I won't have ANYTHING to stop my acne from coming in), so I figured I could give this regimen a try at the same time if you think it would help stop my acne in a reasonable amount of time, as opposed to a few months.

Do you think that doing this would clash with what the vitamins are doing, though?

She gave me 3 vitamins, one for my liver called, "Livaplex" (Because I guess my liver is fucked up from the Doxycline and Minocycline that I've been taking, and she says that before my acne can be healed, my liver must be healed first). One called "Dermatrophin" to "attack the attackers of acne" (Or that's how she explained it, haha). And then the last one was just Vitamin E, since she said my body was lacking that, and that having Vitamin E in my body should prevent me from getting acne.

Hey good to here that you want to try this regimen. If your doctor said to take the vitamins I am not going to say anything against that. I would take the vitamins+Fiber pills+ probiotic. Wash with a gentle cleanser and apply Clean and Clear 10% benzoyl peroxide treatment. Do that for 2 weeks.

Hey there!

I am suffering from same sort of shit that you did.

Im gonna write down my story here, I hope you read it and reply smile.png

Okay so I had mild/moderate cystic acne since I was 13 (I am 20 now).

By the time i turned 14 i was getting cystic acne all over my face - cheeks, forehead, chin, under my nose, around my lips.

So I went online and looked for different cures, and the first thing that came up was benzoyl peroxide and it had amazing reviews. I immediately bought it and started using it.

Now, since I was a kid, i never really bothered washing my face properly after using it. i always applied it overnight and washed my face in the morning. I lived in a very hot region so when i stepped out of my house, my skin used to get all tight and flaky but i never noticed it and thought its normal (cuz i was a kid). i never used sun protection cream or moisturizer and i let the 40- 50 celsius heat dry the hell out of my skin for atleast 1 or 2 years.

Soon at 16 i realized my skin had gotten really messed up and even if i was exposed to the sun for like more than 2minutes, my skin would burn insanely. (keep in mind i lived in a very hot country)

I stopped using benzoyl, i didnt have acne anymore but my skin was all flaky, dry, oily, and red (if exposed to sun or hot water)

My acne probs became less severe and i barely used to get any. However, i noticed that i only got mild/mod acne during winters when the temp used to drop to around 15- 25 cels.

This didnt bother me winter only lasted for upto a month and i used doxycyclene anitibiotic during that period. i thought my acne probs were forever cured.

But then I moved to Canada and everything changed :(:( . The cold weather here destroyed my face and made it really really dry. Currently, i live here and i have had the worst acne experience here.

During the winters(which last for like 6months here) i get SEVERE cystic acne under my lips, above my lips, corners of my lips, chin, around my nose. my cheeks are kinda like yours in the first pic. i researched and found out its because my skin gets really really dry over winter. I started applying moisturizer when i came to canada but that only helps in winter. I barely go to univerity anymore because i hate waking up in the morning and looking at my face or showing my face to others. This problem has probably put me under depression. When i step out of my house, i cover my face with a scarf so that the cold wind does not hit my face and worsen my probs. However, during summer, my skin magically cleans up.

I am thinking of using doxycylene antibiotics again. Im not sure if i should go for that regime or the one that you have suggested.

Please let me know what you think about my situation.

I wouldnt bother you with this huge ass story but you seem to be my only hope. You wont believe how happy i felt when i read your post and saw how common our skin probs were and then how u got it cured completely.

Hey I know exactly how it feels it is awful. I wouldn't recommend Doxycyline. I took that for a few months and it made it far more worse. And it ruins your gut by killing off the good bacteria. Try out my regimen and tell me how it works after a few days. It should start to help you immediately. I just hate the big cysts around my mouth its just awful and so painful. I know where you coming from. Just message me if you have any more questions!!

Hang in there!

Hi Spriorda.

I made an account just to ask you something. Anyways....

I've been trying psyllium husks for 3 days now.

Currently i've got 2 huge cysts and are reducing in size. Whiteheads heal a little quicker for me now.

But the bad news is another huge cyst is growing on my cheek. Is there an initial breakout when using psyllium husks or should i give it another week and see if there are any newer cysts growing? I'm really hoping for this to work. My scars are already bad as it is from all this cysts. Damn..
