Never heard of it before, is it an anti-biotic? cream?
I don't think it is an antibiotic cream. It contains: ichthyol (1.5grams), titanium oxide, zinc oxide, Hamamelis extract.
On Wikipedia it says: ichthyol or ichthammol is a product of natural origin obtained in the first step by dry distillation of sulfur-rich oil shale. It is used in medicine as a remedy for treating some skin diseases, such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. It is commonly used in 10% or 20% concentrate ointment form as a "drawing salve." However, it does not actually draw out foreign objects. It does soften skin over a boil or spot allowing it to come to a head sooner.
I think the zinc oxide is what helps a lot with inflammation.
I have never seen anything work so fast in making pimples disappear and I tried many things.
The problem is it is only sold in Europe (other name for it is Cutaden).
It is very cheap (<$10). Try it if you get a chance.
I confirm that INOTYOL(/Cutaden) works great with pimples !
All my pimples had gone with this ointment, but applied only on them (not on the entire face), and kept it during the night or an entire day for better results. After 2-3 applications, the pimples had gone whithout leaving any marks. So, this product dries out the pimples (the zinc oxide and titanium oxide are responsible for this, they are often ingredients in acne problems receipes.
