Since the scarring is located close to the upper dermal layers it can normally stretch to the point where it isn't noticeable. The small white dumps that you see are either the result of folliculitis and/or overactive sebaceous glands. I've seen great results with the 585 nm pulsed dye laser. For some cases depending on the depth and characteristics of the scars, even DEEP resurfacing treatment seems to significantly lessen their appearance. Hi !! I have the same problem and your solution seems like the most accurate one. I have a dermatologist appointment next week, will definitely ask for 585nm pulsed dye laser and steroid injections.
