Ok I've been using this stuff for a week or two now and never had this problem till last night, when I put it on my face, I don't get any in my eyes, but for some reason after about a mintue or two I my eyes start to burn like hell. I don't rub near my eyes or accidentally get it in my eyes they just start to burn.

Any ideas why, Last night it took about half hour for them to calm down and stop burning

Couldn't say.

May have just been an isolated incident. Try it again, but if it starts to burn again, wash it off and maybe discontinue use.

You don't want to spur up another problem trying to stamp out one.

I read somewhere that aloe vera gel is closely related to the onion.

But why didn't it burn my eyes before, it only started last night and this morning that's weird.

Oh great I get reactions when I'm near onions, I hope my eyes aren't going to keep burning everytime I use this stuff :doubt:

i would smear it all over my face excluding the eyes and stuff and all of a sudden my eyes would just water up. its like i was near onions or something. i dont think its anything to worry about though.

Maybe because after you put it on, you closed your eyes and went to sleep so whatever was being released from the aloe vera gel couldn't get into your eyes. I always close my eyes for a few minutes white applying aloe vera gel, and I find that prevents me from getting all teary-eyed.

Yes i also read that the aloe vera is related to the onion. If you research this im sure you will find it! :D But you will get used to it. When i started fruit of the earth aloe vera, my eyes teared like hell, but after 10 months it has stopped and no more teary eyes! :D

I think they mean 10 mintues and I don't really have the burning problem anymore like I use to, which is good. That was weird, never happened before then all of a sudden it started to burn. oh well.

Its nothing to worry about. Aloe Vera fruit of the earth brand is the best. Never use the green stuff. Fruit of the earth aloe vera is pure aloe vera and it works wonders on the skin. When I put it on my face my eyes water for about 10 seconds and then its over. Ive been using it for years and my skin looks amazing because of it. Im 41 I wish I wouldve started using it since I was a child. It literally took my wrinkles away.

I've been using aloe vera gel for my face and body to no side effects or reactions.
