Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on what treatments I should get next for my acne scars. These are the treatments I've had so far:
- 3 x fractional laser resurfacing (picosecond laser + CO2 laser, last treatment in February 2022)
- 3 x rf microneedling (Genius, last treatment in July 2022)
- 1 x subcision (Nokor needle, September 2022)
Unfortunately, I haven't seen much improvement. The one subcision treatment seems to have worked best (on the few tethered scars it was done). Maybe laser resurfacing and rf microneedling are not the best treatments in my case?
What treatments would you recommend? I'm currently looking into tca cross and temporary fillers (hyaluronic acid). Do you think those could help?
The pictures were taken after the treatments mentioned above.
Thanks in advance!
Tough one because the more superficial the harder to treat. You could attempt things like a lesser strength dermabrasion, certain peels perhaps like medium strength, some sort of laser resurfacing like c02. I would personally rather try/test a spot with some dermabrasion or some peels by an experienced surgeon.
For some indentations (atrophy with no real defined lines) you could try subcision but again, test any of these since anyone can react any way.
Those are just some suggestions. But in reality I'm sure they bother you but they are at least lighter than most.
