Hi, I came to this community to seek help from everyone. I have been suffering from severe acne scars and I was wondering if anyone can recommend treatments that could help with my severe acne scars.
You have a combo of scarring, so I'd say you'll probably need a combo of treatments. An example of a guess for what a doctor might suggest:
- A few TCA treatments
followed by:
- A deep peel
And then wait and see how things heal and see what's next.
You want to look for improvement, and not radical improvement. Only so much can be done with scar repair treatments, but they can improve things.
Very important: Get under the care of someone really good and don't do anything until you know you are with the right person. Any gut ping that you have that you are not in the right hands, listen to it, and go talk to another specialist until you find the right person.
By TCA treatment, are you referring to TCA CROSS OR TCA PEEL?
Thank you and no, I do not know how to get isotretnoin.
ask your doctor.

You need the Taylor liberator subcision for those scars, they are very tethered.
Dr. Rullan's 2 day Phenol dermabrasion. This is the next big treatment I'm planning on having. I've seen some amazing results from that on this site. Expensive but if you can have a downtime of about 2 weeks and can handle your skin being red for a month or 2, do it. Keep in mind several treatments will be needed for your case and probably in combination with other treatments. (subcision, lasers, prp) Unfortunately with acne scars there isn't a 1 or 3 time treatment, but several

I think there is nothing out there to smooth it out to your satisfaction. Too deep its into the dermis and the fat layer. I would find a plastic surgeon face and neck. Skin grafts gong be needed. I knew a guy when I was in school had severe cystic acne in his jawline and chin. They had to do skin grafts from about his mid cheek down both sides. There is some difference in tone between grafts and no grafts but its better than the scars on him.
