Did you ask your doc directly and show him/her?

I don't know first hand myself, but this is one of those things where you want to be your own advocate. Normally these days, you can email your doc. I would email with that pic and place a follow up call and just be sure you get an answer. Your question is important and valid and you just need to be a little persistent sometimes to get a medical answer.

To me, just purely as a lay person, it looks faint, so probably nothing to worry about, but yeah, its your face. Stay persistent. And keep it out of the sun, which I'm sure you already know. It might also not be a bad idea to eat low carb (nothing processed, no sugar) until it heals too in order to give your body the best chance of full healing with the least amount of inflammation.
