You could see improvement. Especially if you got a bunch of treatments for this. I'd say maybe 50% improvement or so. That means you'd still see scarring but it would be a little less prominent. But you'd have to commit to treatment. You would probably need multiple different treatments as well.

If you want to do it, get yourself in the hands of a really good, trustworthy, smart, experienced scar specialist. That means not settling for someone you're just "ok" with. Find someone who you're like "ok I found the right person for sure." Look at before and afters, ask questions, stay on top of your treatment, be your own advocate, and you should be able to get some progress I think.

Several rounds of Subcision and Laser should improve your scars.

This is definitely on the severe spectrum for sure, but I've seen it before to one degree or another over the years on forums or etc. The problem is the depth of the damage makes it complicated in which order to proceed. I absolutely agree subcision and aggressive laser, perhaps incrementally, has to be undertaken by someone experienced or at least confident in using both (has experience). I think 50-60% is achievable. Beyond that I would doubt it given the fat damage is not reversible (not for you or not for me or anyone whose had fat damage of any magnitude). You know collagen can be tweaked, but fat damage in the bottom layers are not fixable, so rolling/textural is the above 55% thing basically. I mean maybe at some point a fat transfer or fillers during/after subcision should be investigated but as far as I know I never came to the conclusion that it was practical or without risks of clumping. But for more severe cases the risks might be worth it?

The pigment damage as a result of lower layer damage can't be fixed, but blended probably much better. For you, there's only improvement at this point, and I do think 55-60% is achievable with the right procedures. Maybe as much as 65% or 70% if things go together perfectly at the end of a long journey.

Also, and this is just a personal suggestion/musing. I would attempt to harness or solicit aid from either expert doctors, your community or any other resources you can, if it becomes difficult because on any moderate or long journey, I do think society has an obligation to help to some degree one way or another, even if that form is disability funds, charity/donation procedures from doctors, or anything else. Put simply, and I don't know whether it's practical or easy to obtain nowadays, but I do think when a lot of procedures are needed, resources should step up.

Best!
