Hey guys, I used to post on here in 2005 as an insecure teenager. Good to be back!
So I've got some semi-gnarly scars that date back to those days, and they seem to be getting worse with age. I got some kind of laser treatment about five years ago, which may have caused some slight improvement, but nothing to write home about.
Anyway, I'm now in a position where I can afford to get some real work done, and I could go pretty much anywhere in the world to do it.
Would anyone here be able to give some advice about what I could look into, and maybe where the cheapest place to go for it would be?
Looks like some rolling scarring to me.
I would think something like ablative fractional laser + PRP would be a treatment that you might see results from as long as you get multiple treatments. At least if I were you and had your skin, I would probably lean toward that treatment. Each treatment, as you have noticed, only gives you some improvement, so you will probably need a few.
As far as where to go get it, I don't know that. But you want to go with a doctor that you feel really comfortable with and who can show you real before and afters of lots of people with similar scarring. You also might want to get a few opinions before you decide on one doctor and/or treatment.
