On March 8, I had an ablative co2 treatment with the lumenis ultra pulse alpha device for my acne scars. I am currently on the 5th day. I am taking antibiotics and anti-infection pills. Water is forbidden. Cream is forbidden. Frankly, my skin is not even in a condition to be creamed. The serous fluid flowing from my face the morning after the treatment dried and crystallized on my face because I was forbidden to wash my face. It did not look like a crust, it was like a real stone man. My concern is that before having the ablative treatment, I had another treatment with the lumenis device and this treatment was done on January 27. Will having a co2 treatment on January 27 cause me to get bad results from the ablative treatment I had on March 8? I am worried. My doctor said that my skin can handle this treatment. I asked him insistently. What I want to ask is, if an ablative treatment is applied to my sensitive skin, will there be more scars? I cannot see my skin underneath. I am very scared.
Call your doctor again and insist on a video call. Be your own advocate and don't take no for an answer. The sooner the better. Be insistent.
Or an in person visit of course. But see him right away. Don't delay.
