How can I treat these wounds?

I had cystic acne as a teenager. I used accutane about 2 times. Afterwards, scars remained on my skin. I did subcision + co2 laser treatments. I am an obsessive compulsive disorder patient and obsessed. I am extremely obsessed with my skin. I don't go out, I don't see my friends, and I don't date any woman because I lack self-confidence, my skin is destroying me. If you could rate my wounds out of 10, what would you give? And what treatments should I apply?

I guess you're right, I guess my obsession complicates the situation, I just ask a few trusted friends what my skin looks like and they all say they didn't notice the scars until I told them. How do you think it looks..?

3-4 maybe? There's some spots but it's mostly textural or superficial or just kind of like environmental stuff. And for the record, even light scarring or any differences can produce mental issues. That's not a bad thing and it's not something abnormal. It actually is quite normal for the record. The degree might be too severe with you but then again I don't know what your scars look like in certain lights or at their worst. Maybe you see more of that and freak out.

I honestly think your skin looks good and fairly smooth. speaking honestly, there is only one noticeable scar that I am seeing, which similar chicken pox scars can be seen here and there even on people who have a history of healthy and clear skin. for example: Khloe Kardashian, Emilia Clarke, Shakira. Another great example si Jennifer Lawrence. She has beaauuuutiful skin, and is consistently praised in the media for her skin. I was rewatching hunger games the other day, and noticed that in certain lighting, you can easily see a boxcar scar along her jaw. this in no way takes away from her beauty, and her skin is still smooth when viewed holistically.

your skin looks healthy overall and has a good glow to it.

I struggle with body dysmorphia, and what you are describing sounds similar to what I am going through. I have been told by two different dermatologists that my scarring is mild, yet in certain lightings, when I am in that headspace of scrutinizing myself, all I see is huge craters in my face and I know how scary that can feel. you have a whole community of people here who know what it's like and can help. it is helpful to view things in more of a full picture. rather than picking apart specific lesions, view your skin as a whole. a healthy goal is not to be free of any scars, but to reach a threshold in which the scars are "reconciled" with the rest of your skin. In other words, the improvement is such that the scarring present is cosmetically insignificant; it may still be there, but to the onlooker, it flies under the radar. and given your case, you're basically already there! because had you not pointed anything out, I would not even know that you have ever struggled with acne.

I have a boyfriend but honestly here is a woman's perspective: please do not let this keep you from dating and reaching out to women! because I can assure you your skin is nice and such mild levels of scarring do not, in my opinion, take away from your attractiveness.

nonetheless, there is nothing wrong with seeking improvement! subcision+filler and prp microneedling are the best approached according to my research, though I have yet to have anything done yet. I am hoping to share my journey on this forum soon.
