Hello,
I have some atrophic scarring on the temples as well as one on the cheek. The skin texture itself is relatively smooth, aside from the atrophic scarring (if this makes sense). I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations related to filler for the scarring. I've read online that the skin texture should be smoothed out with other treatments before doing filler. I saw a recent post about dr. eric joseph and the improvement actually looked really good. I do live sort of far from him (currently in Santa Barbara, California). If anyone has any recommendations related to drs or plastic suregons o who do filler, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
As far as filler goes, the one suggestion I usually have is to look into using analogous fat transfer. In other words, your own fat. I don't have personal experience with it, but I like the idea of something your body won't reject or have issues with like your own fat.
And sorry...don't know any docs.
If you do get filler done, please post your before and afters. I'd be curious to see.
