Do you tell friends/family about the treatments you've gotten?

Recently got some scar treatment (subcision, phenol cross, filler) done and am still in the healing phase. I still have scabs from the phenol and am still a little swollen. I'm not really embarrassed by it to the point I won't go to a social event that I really want to go to. However I'd prefer to not have to explain to friends, etc. why I have these little scabs on my face currently. How does everyone handle this? Has anyone ever pointed this out?

I think part of it is also psychological. Like if I mention treating my acne scars it makes it more real or noticeable to people

In the end it boils down to it's nobody's business but yours. Telling someone is moot unless it serves a purpose like you need support. Otherwise, why tell anyone? It's not their concern really and I agree that it just brings up more questions, unwanted advice sometimes. That's just my opinion.
