Day 18 after combination of CO2 laser and 80% TCA and skin still red and bumps started appearing.

The redness did subside a bit from day 16 onwards, but now some raised, deep red bumps started appearing from day 16 too (on the areas where previously there were scabs).

My doctor gave forsuderm ointment post op and on day 8 after I finished the tube, I sent my picture to him and he said it's normal and to come down to get another tub of forsuderm ointment. Just finished the second tub on day 17.

Is this normal?

This is really interesting to see. I don't know personally if it's normal or not, but your doc seems to think it is, so hopefully they'll go away soon. Keep us posted.

Yes. This happens. First and foremost, wear SPF 30 or above everyday. Apply vitamin c topical every day. Wash face before bed.

Next step:

Option 1: Try a lightening agent that you obtain from the pharmacy. Has to be something with hydroquinone. Can also contain kojic acid, which is often used in skin lightening agents. It comes in a cream form, you apply it twice a day. It will get redder before it starts to fade completely. It will irritate your skin, makes it itch and/or peel.

Option 2: pico laser with trained specialist. Fades slowly in a matter of months. Use tret or tarozarc to accelerate cell turnover. Start slow.

Follow all doctor instructions. Don't drink alcohol, or smoke cigs.
