I have skin disease called hidradenitis supervita as well and always thought this was hs scars ( hs has not cure ) however recently got to know its called ice pick and box scars.

This derm was like its a 1-2 year process and just wanted to start something as i delayed it last 2 years during covid. Ive done 2 sessions of morpheus rf but was kinda of no help. -

I keep a beard and big side-lock so kinda covers the scars however im extremely conscious about it which effecting my confidence big time.

I sort of agree I think excision probably. I think it's too sharp to really do anything. After excision you might have options like fillers or possibly subcision is the hunch if the excision causes depressions that would respond well with filler/subcision.

Put simply I don't think you can sand or laser those main areas or resurface them given the depth/shape.

Excision, with hair follicles placed in the scar line, and then grow out a beard
