You have icepicks quite clearly, maybe a single boxcar or two. Some on the board would recommend something like TCA cross but I warn you it's hit or miss based on my observation and if you try that I implore you to test a spot or two first as not to worsen all spots.

I had great success from super aggressive dermabrasion, the kind they don't do much anymore (very aggressive). For me it worked on icepicks like you wouldn't believe, even if some lingers. Of course there are risks and way more risks to Asians. Then there's laser or combination laser and peels I guess.

I can't really say for sure because of the risks to asian skin and the general hit or miss for poeple. I would say some sort of resurfacing is your best bet, something that attempts to sand down the edges in general. that is laser/dermabrasion really in a nutshell.

I think others might have better ideas.

Question have you gone to a plastic surgeon and got any advice yet?

Try full ablation erbium but besides tiny icepicks so not sure if risk is worth reward. Isolated treatment is best since overall you are good.

Hello thanks all for replying, i appreciate it.

currently i am on my 3rd tca cross, wish me luck aha, will update you guys more if there is improvement.

my dermatologist did recommend me infini microneedling, but its cost is 2000 dollars per session, as i am a student i dont have that much money to afford the treatment.

maybe i would test out more laser in the future, but can i ask what is isolated treatment, thanks for replying guys

Look at other doctors for Infini. I got mine for $1,000 several years ago. I didn't see any results but you could have different types of scars.

Hi amanda thanks for replying, $1000 i still think too expensive for me currently, might try more tca cross in the process, but i am going hopeless for my skin as it doesn't respond to any treatment.

Try high percent phenol cross what happens is were trying to burn the walls of icepick and hence would become rolling appearance

I think that's a decent thesis what Getsmart says. I think dermabrasion (deep) does a similar thing, it nukes the edges and does leave imperfections but if lucky it blends with such little rolling scars that unless under weird light it looks flat.

If you want my opinion I think he's right on doing some full ablative surfacing like phenol or dermabrasion to nuke the edges. Of course there are risks either way but I saw a ton of success with dermabrasion. When I had icepicks my doctor went really deep and many if not all of them healed 70-85% I would say.

This kind of scars the op has is easily hideble with tinted sunscreen plus he doesnt have to take the risk.
