I know resurfacing can be done immediately after regular suture removal but what about with absorbable stitches? Can resurfacing be done if they still have not dissolved 1 month post excision?
You have to wait for the sutures to dissolve. After the sutures dissolve, you can do a laser. Some doctors recommend 2 weeks, others say it is best to wait at least 6 months.
