RF microneedling in 2 weeks time - 20mg Accutane - stop medication?

Hi,

In February 2022 I started a low dose course of Accutane (20mg daily). I have an appointment in 2 weeks time for subscision & RF microneedling with a cosmetic surgeon. Should I stop the Accutane? If yes, is 2 weeks enough time or do I need to postpone my surgery?

The cosmetic surgeon doesn't know that I'm on Accutane as I had my initial consultation months before starting the Accutane. I've read that Accutane is fine but just want to make sure...

Thanks

You should be fine I would have a 2 week break before and then untill its healed after it shouldnt have any effects on the accutanes effects

Thank you! Fine because it's only 20mg or fine because it's Sub & RF or both? I'm assuming for something like lasers, more recover time is needed after Accutane?

Thank you. My surgeon recommended decreasing to 40mg per week (not per day) but I think they're being extra careful.

Anyone had any actual experience with getting sub & RF done while on Accutane?
