Acne scarring- 10 years old scarring

Hi! I™m a 25 year old and have had acne since teenage years. Around the age of 22 I finally took Accutane and haven™t had acne since then but have had these scars on my face. There™s no pigmentation on my skin, rather the texture. I™ve tried these treatments so far- 3 micro needling sessions, 3 chemical peel+laser sessions, 1 TCA cross peel for the crown area.

I haven™t seen any improvement from these treatments at least. I™m southeast Asian, so on the darker skin tone side. Someone recently recommended eMatrix. I was wondering if anyone here can help me figure out the best treatments to see the optimal results? Also, I™m based in New York City. If anyone has any places/doctors they would highly recommend? I would really really appreciate any help. Thank you!

A bunch of tca cross sessions on cheeks then deep full ablation erbium roughly 600 microns on cheek scars and then at the same time Co2 fractional to treat deep scars and build collagen

I had a doctor tell me deepest you can go full ablation erbium is 300 microns. Which doctor does 600?

Simply if he goes over it twice with 300 then it will be 600

yes but he said he wont go past 300 anywhere. as in its unsafe. oil gland is at 600 depth from my understanding.

Its up to him but its common practice to go to 400-500 for just wrinkles and sun spots and davin lim goes to 750 for scars

Do not waste your time and money on eMatrix. Phenol peel would do wonders on those cheeks scars. Temple is a lot harder to fix.

I agree ematrix is not the way to go but phenol peel is to far the other end in my opinion

I take it you had light/medium peels? Microneedling and/or light peels are likely a waste and while I've seen a few improvements here or there with needling by far I've seen more "does nothing". I do think phenol would blend well but it's too strong for this in my opinion. I think fully ablative laser resurfacing is probably your best bet. Everyone keeps highlighting deep erbium on the boards so that seems to be the best laser route.

Also I've found many New York doctors are superficial and push those useless procedures you might be better off doing good research on NJ outlets/doctors. The more complex things they list/do on their site along with reviews the better your chances he/she is more experienced rather than a doctor that just lists fillers, botox, one superficial laser and endless degrees...

I have similar scaring on my cheeks but a lot worse and phenol peel resulted in the best outcome. (I haven't done co2 lasers).

Did you try tca in the past?
