Are these pitted scars treatable?

I have pitted scars on my cheeks ” they™re really stressing me out. I developed them 2-3 years ago. So, I had cystic acne for over 2 months that weren™t going away. I wasn™t developing new ones but the existing ones persisted for quite a while . My derm gave me some meds, but it didn™t get any better, so he suggested that I get a shot (not sure about the ingredients of the injection).

The injection did work, however, I now have pitting. I™m not sure if the injection caused that pitting because it wasn™t too deep initially. But then I developed acne over the same areas where I had gotten the injection. Now, the scarring was much worse. Thankfully, no active acne from the past 3-4 months.

i™m attaching images below. Please let me know if these scars can be treated. If yes, then up to what extent? Can i expect 60-70% improvement in the appearance.

thanks a ton!

Few Subcision and fillers. No one. Knows how much improvement you will get but hopefully you shouldsatisfied if your body is generating collagen.

Laser cant lift much. But if you want edges smoothing then laser is fine. But I dont see much texture changes. Focus on more lifting the scar up using Subcision and filler.

Amazing results. I really want to do it, but Im not sure if I can trust derms in India. The one that I go to keep pushing laser and do not mention subcision or fillers at all. I think its all they have available. Do you have any derm recommendation in India?

I also read comments on that Reddit thread, and the OP said that the fillers are a one time thing and the skin will produce its own collagen over time? Is it true?

Dont have personal experience but the theory is when you Subcision and fill it helps the scar no retether but by the time the filler dissipates your body would have already filled enough collagen to stay afloat.

search for Subcision near me on google maps or search in google for Subcision and your city name. Hopefully you will find someone. Make sure the doctor does cannula Subcision, I think a spot Subcision is fine since you are just targeting that area. Here is how dr rullan does the procedure he first injects the area with filler and then subcizes the area.

below is a doctor called Jason emer performing the procedure.

Actually you are lucky compared to most of us here lol because your scars are few, big, deep and not spread throughout your face¦.your scars are the typical scars that I usually see benefit from subcision and fillers¦.your scars are kinda  œerasable but you™ll be spending a lot of money though¦.goodluck!
