Do you think it's a lighting trick? I no longer want to waste my time and money unnecessarily. I want to save my money and go to the best doctor. Do you think Davin Lim is the best?
It's definitely the same person because the scars are outlined in the same spot on the top (unless like the guy above says it's not real or photo shopped in some way) but from what I read (don't know if it's true or not) but Lim hasn't been that regarded from what I read lately I think people felt he relies on salesman pitch or filler too much.
It looks like the woman had great outcome from subscision first, then laser, then filler carried whatever fat/texture loss remained. Not sure if that's typical or what is left after filler depletes.
I saw that too on Instagram. He also has others that are interesting. Makes me have hope that perhaps I am only a few lasers away from my comfort point. Im not a fan of fillers so its hard for me to see how she looked without the fillers. Fillers can disguise a lot. Not that it matters much, but I personally care how skin looks on its own with no spacer I find it more objective. However, she is older so perhaps filler was needed for volume loss in general or she requested it. This is the issue with not having all the facts of a given case. We only get what is shown. There is a lot of room for interpretation or inferences. I wish doctors were much more transparent and followed longer cases. But maybe Im just asking for too much.
Dermatologists like to use fillers because it plumps up the face and gives instant results. What happens to that filler when the scars retether is not a pretty sight.
That's why I think Mr. Matt's regimen of subcision and suction worked so well for him. And he NEVER filled his face. I also don't think he lasered either, but he didhave many deep peels -- the kind where the face peels for a week.
I don't know how touched-up the picture to the right is. But let's say it's just lighting. There's still improvement as far as I can tell.
Fillers probably did most of the work. How much did the other treatments contribute to the improvement? Who knows.
Just beware that these results are not average. Not everyone will see these results. Dr. Lim, just like Dr. H, has screwed up some faces before. But they also have gotten really good results.If you want to get all of these treatments done, pay up. They will charge more than the average doctor.
