I have been browsing this forum for weeks and finally determined to spend 2-3 years treatingmy widespread acne scars on cheeks and temples. I see many successful stories and also many depressing comments. It seems to me now that selecting correct procedures and Dr is far more important than simply spending tons ofmoney and time. Anyone has some recommendation on Dr. around Long Island, NY, that can perform successful subcision+sculptra with a reasonable price? I believe it serves as a nice starting point. I do have tethered deep scars and boxed scars spread over my face.

I have been visiting med spas/dermatology since August. To be honest, so far I have been frustrated and tired of continuous recommendation on RF microneedling and fractional CO2... Literately I see no difference before/after on any severe scars.

Feel free to make comment and offer suggestions. If I finally select a Dr and start my procedures, I will probably log my treatment here , and hopefullywe together see some improvement and be encouraged again.

Thanks!

I have visited several drs on Long Island, and generally I am disappointed...

I will visit Dr. Alizadeh and Dr. Khrom next week.

They both conduct fillers with subcision. Seems the right direction for me...

I am considering fillers with subcisioin, possibly with infini, any suggestions?

Hello, you look very red in the last photo, is it recent scarring or did you have treatment?

You can get v beams for the redness. this will make it look at lot better.

You can then subcisefirst, and then imo laser a few times for texture. I dont really think infini is that good speaking from personal experience, but feel free to try it first if you dont want to laser. Your scarring is not extremely deep so i think u can get good improvement. It is fairly widespread though, so maybe taylor liberator subcision is best for you. You may have to travel for that tho.

Thanks for replying. I think the extreme redness is from the numbing cream before rf needling. Yet normally, scars on cheek are like pink to red, as well. I agree. I will probably start from subcision. My worry is that my skin is sensitive and akin to redness. Maybe I should improve this first. I am afraid that my skin would fight with subcision  and cause collagen to collapse even more.
