I've had subcision with filler (but HA not Sculptra) with him twice. First one went good with no complications. Second one, I got 2 bumps from the filler I think. When I went back a 3rd time (didn't get subcision), I showed him it and he injected the spots with some stuff to dissolve the filler and applied pressure to get the bumps down. It's still there but I think it's improved a little.

Still no regrets really. It's the risk you take when trying to fix scars all across your face. Idk if you can get nodules like that with Sculptra since it's injected deeper. That's just my guess though and I could be completely wrong. Did he suggest Sculptra for you? I asked for it when I first talked with Rullan but he told me not to get it

i just have to say dr rullan is the most caring and experienced doctor ive seen. he empathizes so hard with you and makes you feel like everything will be okay. he has given me subcision and sculptra twice and i think i have a lump from sculptrabut cant tell if its a long lastingacne nodule. he is trying to help me repair laser damage from another doctor and i really hope we can do it. if we can, im going to get him a big present. hes giving me hope when i was ready to give up.

yaa, i do agree he is the most caring dermatologist unlike the other ones. I have damage from lasers too. do you see a difference after sculptra? how long did it take to see the results and also how long after the nodule was there?

I had sculptra and subsicion with him today. Ive read that you have to massage the areas to keep the nodules from forming. But since Im so swollen and sore Im not sure if its a good idea. And Rullan didnt mention anything about massaging. Im a little anxious, though, because I dont want nodules to form. I have anxiety/depression/adhd/bdd. Ill hyperfocus on a nodule and itll define me and depress me. Lol. Did your nodule resolve?
