Is it okay to start using retinol products 2 weeks after laser and does it help scars heal better from laser. Any people with positive output for enlarged pores and scar remodeling with retinol products

I used it after the skin is fully healed. It helped with the skin texture.

I start using it three days after, mostly when the scabs are all gone. I use tarozarotene though, which is stronger

Personally, nothing negative.I imagine that it further eliminates dead skin or old skin from laser and it pulls the fresh skin up much faster. I also imagine that scars remodel a bit faster too.

This is against my doctors advise, who says to use it only after a week has passed but I cant because then I break out quite badly. I assume doctors tell patients this because vitamin a products make someones skin very sensitive and inflamed and they dont want (1) the patient to have a bad reaction and blame the procedure and (2) because if helps when taking progress pics of you arent so red/reacting fromvery strong products. I say its all to protect and benefit themselves but Im very cynical about most doctors ethics so take this with a grain of salt.

Thanks for sharing your take on this, I understand doctors need money to survive their business but they need treat specifically carefully when treating acne scar patients as they are emotionally hurt compared to other cosmetic procedures where most of the things are hidden. They can make money on other procedures surely.
