So what is Erbium laser good for?

Genuinely asking. Can it improve a shallow scar in one session or would it take multiple? Is it useful for rough, lumpy texture? I'm honestly running out of options for skin improvement, so I'm wondering if the erbium would even be worth it.

Erbium laser can improve scar borders make sure the doctor incorporates fully ablative mode for scar edges but the results are seen at 2 to 3 months and then the improvement is still going on but at a lower rate compared to first 3 months.

How much improvement percentage wise could I expect after one treatment assuming the doctor uses the best methods and settings?

If he use fully ablative mode on scar edges you are bound to see results.Think shaving of scar edges only, hence it will make it look softer and hence less noticeable.again it all depends on how you will heal from procedure. But conservatively keep it at 30 percent,And only gauge the results in 3 to 6 months.
The reason I am confident on this is because we are not looking for growth of collagen, what we are looking is to sand the edges.

there was one of the videos from davin lim that he used ablative laser but he well full surface area with it. Let me share the link. Duration at 6:45
