I™ve been dealing with acne for the past five years. It wasn™t until recently I decided to go Accutane; I am just now finishing my course and have been on it for the past seven months. I have also been dealing with acne scars for as long as I have been dealing with my acne; however, it wasn™t until last year that I realized that my scars would require some treatment(s). I will be waiting the six months following finishing the course to take action in regards to treating these scars.

I have been following this sub from a distant and decided it™s about time to post something on here. I have been doing some research and have a general idea of my scars and compatible treatments. If there are any tips you guys could relay to me ” like what type of scars I have and what treatments are best for these scars ” it would be appreciated. The more feedback, the better. I have uploaded a few pics in lighting that would possibly make it easier to read my scars.

You have a combination of rolling and boxcar scars. These will require the standard treatment(s): subcision, energy devices like RF microneedling, and peels like TCA. I suggest at least 1 round of subcision and TCA. Repeat if necessary.

@Sirius LeeIs there a certain method of subcision I should be aiming for (Cannula, etc.) ? Also, what would be a reasonable price estimate I should be looking for in those three procedures? Thanks!

Your scars aren't that deep, so there's no need for Nokor. Not many doctors use Nokor anyway. Cannula will suffice.

As for price, it varies depending on your locale. In the US, you're looking at $250 and $750 for subcision; $500 - $1000 for RF microneedling (Infini/Genius being the most expensive); TCA (free to $200). These are rough estimates.
