I used to have some persisting redness and laser/phenol cross made it disappeared l. Ive recently started suctioning and now the treated area has become blotchy and red again and its not the kind of temporary redness thatgoesaway after 24 hours.

Do others experience this after suctioning? And how long did it take for your redness to disappear after stop suctioning? I was thrilled when the lasting redness was gone and I dont want this new redness to stay on my face again this time.

Also - how many days should I suction for?

It can last for longer than 24 hours. The safest way to avoid hematoma is not to suction for longer than 5 seconds. I findglidingthe cup while suctioning also helps. There's no hard and fast rule about how long you should suction. Everyone heals differently.
