hello I have some scars which really really bother me , I have no acne they are old scars .

i have no idea what kind of scars they are and what treatment to do but I want to do something I™ve tried dermapen myself not really sure if it worked as before I started I never took pics in fact I hate pics because of this it ruins my whole face and I spent years with an abusive partner being told about my scars regularly as he knew it bothered me so yer I just want to sort them but all I ever see is posts on other areas not so much forehead .

if anyone could help I would really appreciate it thanks x

they look like chicken pox scars, atrophic scars. I would recommend dermastamp once a month,
and if it doesn't work you can ask a dermatologist experienced in scars to use subcision +
filler (especially on the largest scar in the center above the glabella), or just a filler (firstly a temporary filler, like HA filler).
good luck

I have the same scars on the forehead. Around 20 of different kind.. I have dome multiple procedures on them, nothing really made a difference. Subcision with the filler brought slight improvement. After tca cross some scars became white and stay like this. I have to postpone more Subsdue to Coronavirus crisis because I can not go to Denmarkto see the Dr( I do home microneedling 2mm with tca cross 15% to the certain scars and tretinoin, it seems itgives some improvement. The forehead scars are very difficult to treat due to the lack of fat tissue there. I have been wearing the fringe for more then 20 years... I do not like it at all but it gives me the possibility to cover the forehead and not to focus on it all the time.

I am so sorry about your ex partner, nobody deserves to be treated like this.

Microneedling or any resurfacing techniqueswont help with these scars because they are tethered. I agree with Sibel, the best treatment for you is definitely subcision + filler. If I were you Id ask around for derms who specialise in this in your area, as its a really hard area to treat and easy to f up. If you cant find anyone close to you and have the meansto travel to a specialist, Id recommend doing so.

You display boxcar scars, and because of its thin skin layer, it's very challenging to treat the scars on the forehead. Dermapen should be avoided due to micro-tearing. It tends to make your skin look blotchy.

There are safety concerns surrounding fillers injected into the forehead, eg. blindness, so I would suggest you avoid doing so. I would recommend applying50% TCA to individual pits. This is not a PEEL, where it's widely applied to the entire forehead, but rather to each indentation.

Botox should help ease muscle tension. But as I said above, be very careful with fillers in this region.
