I am planning my 3rd visit with Dr Rullan. The price has increased50% since my first visit and within a year.
Amy gave me the following reason :
"Unfortunately the cost of goods has increased for us so we had to raise our prices for the CROSS (chemical we use), the needle heads for microneedling and the cannula and anesthesia for subcision"
They did change theanesthesia method. Other things I don't think so.
I don't buy the cost of goods excuse. Materials cost do not increase by 50% in a year. They have the right to charge whatever they want, but it's clearly because of demand. At least with Rullan he's delivering results. But let's be real about it.
Hi guys
I am sorry to chime in but do you know how much Dr. Rullan is charging for online consultations? Doany of the other good US based doctors offer long distance consults? I am trying to have a good assessment of my scarring and a good treatment plan before I start with any procedures.
Thank you!!

Hi there,
You can email his scheduling agent, Amy Bernal, who can tell you prices for free. I emailed her pictures and she quoted me a price. Her email is[email protected]
Since people are talking about prices, this has been my experience:
This year, summer of 2019, I was quoted $1500 for microneeding, PRP, phenol CROSS & subcision. I opted just for phenol cross and subcision, and that was $1350, since I can easily do microneedling at home and didn't want to burden my face with too much to heal from at once. When I arrived for my procedure, he said CROSS & subcision alone is a good choice for my scars.
Good luck!
@swenthank you so much for the reply and the information!
I've read on this thread that Dr. Rullan apparently offers long distance consults and thought I could book in. I even enquired on their consultation form on the website, but there was no response. Thank you for this email. Hopefully his PA will be more helpful.
On recommendation from BA I am trying to consult many specialists who can assess my scarring and offer the best treatment plan.
@swenthank you so so much. Thanks to your info I got an online consult with Dr. Rullan. 🙂 Soo glad about this! I also checked - he's got excellent reviews here and on Google, and just looks like a doctor with integrity and experience. I think he world be the best choice of all derms so far. I'm going to be savinga bit more money and might be travelling to San Diego some time soon lol

You're welcome! So glad to hear that you were able to reach his office. Yes, he seems to be one of the most reliable in the world right now, especially for subcision and peels/CROSS. Good luck!
@JenSteliDo you know how booked they are? I'm hoping I won't have to wait months for an appointment. I'm thinking about scheduling with them soon. I'm planning to travel since San Diego is a little far from me.
@spop1234I can imagine. He must be very good from what I read here. For now I'm just sending photos of my scarring for assessment. I'm thinking of getting manual treatments locally first, then maybe go see Dr. Rullan for some peel. How many months in advance do I need to book? Do you know?
Good luck with your treatment!

I go to doctor who trained under his seminar.I get Subcision for 550, Cross for 600, and do microneedle at home.Note I am a severe casehave over 100 scars both big and small cross would normally cost 300.

What are the other doctors names? And where are they located? Do you like your results from them?
