Hi all,

so I had terrible hormonal acne breakout when I had my baby last year which left me with scars on my chick. They are quite severe. I have looked online but I cant seem to find any pictures with similar scar like these.

Please help me what are they and how to get rid of them, even if it means a trip to the dermatologist

thank you

@jenni56Thanks for posting the picture. Firstly your scars are not severe, I help severe cases daily. They matter to you and you want them fixed, that is all that matters.

You have some PIE - redness, which is wounding post acne from hormonal acne.

Some textural scarring. Boxcars and surface rolling scars.

@beautifulambition Thank you so much for your detailed reply. Much appreciated. I have also added more shots here since you said you couldn™t tell how deep they are.

p.s: its good to hear that they are not severe

@jenni56I see this type of scarring often. Subcisions and filler will help, many of them. Then worry about resurfacing with laser or chemical peels. Work on your hyperpigmentation lastly if needed.

Welcome!
