Hello guys i'm new on this forum nice to meet you
I did under eye filler 1 month ago with good reluts and the doctor seemed good at doing what he does and confident, so after filler i asked him if he could do something about my acne scars too, so he told that he can do subcission + filler (same filler he used for my dark circles i think its called radiess) o CO2 laser
Now the filler on my dark circles under eye was ok but did not remove dark circles 100%, maybe more like 40%, the subcission here (i'm in Italy) costs like 500euros, the CO2 laser costs like 700euros, and i dont have the money to do both
I'll post my scars so you can give me advise, for someone who has less than 1k to spend what do you think its best?
anyway i have time to think about it because if i choose laser i have to wait till october because we have a lot of sun here in italy, but the doctor told me if i choose only subcission and filler i can do it right over because sun doesent affect it that much
thank you for your time and sorry for my bad english
@Hundred_ReasonsHi thanks for posting, ... under eye filler. Ok this is aesthetics or cosmetic dermatology and not acne scar related.
"subcission + filler (same filler he used for my dark circles i think its called radiess) o CO2 laser" - The question is not will he do it. Any practitionerwill do most things. The question should be. How many times have you done this and how often, ... how often do you treat my skin type, do you have any photos of work you have done. Otherwise this is experimenting on you, and these things do take skill.
OF course it does not remove the dark circles, they are caused by genetics, lack of fat, allergies, dehydration, being overly tired, or on medication / drugs. Filler helps here as it acts as a buffer with the thin skin underneath. I would have never used Radiesse here, ... We use a soft HA filler. This is notoriousfor things going wrong and the filler needing to be reversed. Radiesee lasts longer and is not reversible. Have him come back with HA filler and see if that makes a difference. Pulse dye laser can alsobe used. This takes a lot of skill to do.
This isn't how we treat scars by ordering a treatment. IF you do this you won't be satisfied. Scar work takes 3 years, many treatments, it can be costly, ... lots of healing time(3 months at least between Dr's sessions). It's about the skill of your Dr not the treatment you want to"order."
I cannot even tell your scars from the pictures provided, scars make shadows, I need directional light or a flashlight to see the shadows of the scars the bug you, your skin looks pretty great compared to 99% of the cases I help daily and I help many.
The only issue I see and that's a small picture :with 4-collage in it. Is boxcars in the temples. If so you need subcision and some filler, lots of sessions, many treat as they have time and money. So if you can only afford 2 subcisions a year so be it. Buy a dermastamp(monthly) stamp the scars on your temples as well at home. Do possible glycolic peels to soften them (home). Alternate (When the summer is over). As you said the sun is bad in the summer so avoid peels and laser now for your location. Wear sunscreen! We only laser after manual methods are used several times.
I would never do laser first, this does not fix scars. We always do manual methods first.
If you attach more pictures with shadows I can help more.
Just wanted to chime in and say that your undereye filler looks really good, you don't have any hollowness under your eyes. For some people it doesn't work at all, so a 40% improvement is pretty good. I can't really see any dark circles but if it's still bothering you, you might want to try a brightening eye cream. I really like Origins Ginzing, because it works right way to make the area look a little brighter.

to be honest i didnt ask him those questions and i didnt ask him for proof, i will do it with the next doctor, instead of going back to milan i will search for a docor in my city and ask him questions like that, i dont think it would polite to go back to milan to the doctor who done my under eye filler just to ask for "poof" before doing other treatment.
I should've asked those questions the first time. He told that my scars are not that bad too, in fact now i remember he told that the laser is better than subcission because my scars arent deep and laser is better because people like me only need to improve "overall texture".
the doctor didnt use a HA for my dark circles but he looked professional and confident, i saw improvement immediatly in the mirror he gave me, so i guess using a reversable filler is not a tecnical mistake, right? because the market if full of non reversable fillers even top doctors are using so i dont know...
Do you think i should for a HA filler next time? because dotors here in italy only use one brand, so if he dosent already have it, i dont think he's gonna buy it just for me.
i have a demaroller i bough online, but i stopped using it because i get bored if i dont see results but i will give it a second try
i hope those pictures are better

thank you, i usually dont believe cosmetic creams that much but i'll take a look and read some reviews about brightening eye creams!
@Hundred_ReasonsI would again not use semi-permanent filler's under your eye. This is off label. It depends how far down he injected from the eye. If it was close enough for deficiency we use a HA filler as it can be reversed. But if you have had no issue and it works the choice is yours. This area is just notorious for needing reversing. Give HA a try next time, ... see how it works for you.
The only big scar I see is the box car on your temple. Some subcision can be done here with a bit of filler and some laser, so perhaps the first Dr was fine for that.
For your large pores We do Fraxel 1927nm High density 22 passes over the area to shrink the pores. RF needling is another option. Start using a salicylic face wash, leave on 5 minutes and wash off to clean out your pores.
Dermastamping your scars at home would be another good option, and glycolic peels.
ok thank, do you think i can have an HA filler over the filler i already have? or should i wait a year until the first filler gets absorbed?
It looks like everybody i agree i dont have big scars but i assure if you look at my face live on person the overall texture is bad and i dont know why
i would do glycolic peels and dermastamping like suggested, thank you for your time!
@Hundred_ReasonsWait a year, filler mixing can be dangerous. Buy some under eye concealer if the color bothers you.
Welcome!

Yea, I don't think they really do anything long term besides hydrate, but that Origins one has light reflective properties which brightens immediately. I thought you might be interested since you probably don't want to put concealer on. Honestly your eye area and skin in general looks pretty good to me! Best wishes with your treatments that you may choose.
