Hi!
I have recently found a clinic in Stockholmthat specializes in scar camouflaging with micropigmentation, a sort of tattoo. They also claim they are specialists at camouflaging acne scars with their special method, they treat every individual scar and build up the structure of it, according to their description and say there's usually drastic improvement 50-90%. They do have a lot of before and after pictures of various scars like the ones after botched surgeries or accidents, but can't find anything on acne scars, even though they answered to my email where I attached my pictures that they treat scars like that and could help me significantly.
Anyone heard about something like that? I read a lot of positive reviews, but again, most are talking about different type of scars, even keloids. But can't find anything on rolling scars. The consultation is pricey and I don't know if it's something worth trying?

@Pianina Sadly this is bad marketing at it's worst, taking advantage of the uninformed. Medical tattooing is already in the FAQ, skin section, and hypopigmentation ... why do you need this, as this is not your scarring. IF you have a pit, .... put on makeup and you will see you still see the scar - shadows / texture diffrences (same concept).

It does not fix scars. IT's a last ditch thing for hypopigmentation.

Color issues are not the same as scars, not the same thing. They are marketing this for scars which is unethical. What they may be saying is for surgery scars and that I can see. Please be aware it does not look 100% and fades with time to be a different color (like all tattoos do), I have people with major accidents, burn scars, and disfiguring color related conditions who do this all the time or they just get a normal tattoo and cover their body scars / body acne scars.

Burn scars never really fade, PIE and PIH do though (hyperpigmentation with laser treatment).

This is one of the inventors, her brand is international and treats in Canada Basma Hameed , she may have makeup on as well, I cannot say, but if you notice in the pictures there is a difference in texture, color slightly, waxyness, and you can tell the scar is sill there, might as well ""wear makeup if you can"" ... she was burned in a acid attack as I put in the FAQ. This is not a procedure for acne scars!

I sent them in my pictures and they said they can help me with their ShamaMethod TM  :/ too bad if it's not true. They talked about "building up texture" to even out the scar and wants me to come for a consultation, which costs 100 euros. Would be a waste of money I guess then.

@PianinaSure I can build up your scars as well. With tattoo's we do a little ink at a time, and do more and more sessions to color.

How are they specifically treating your scars, not adding a tattoo on top, might as well wear foundation, otherwise this is a sick joke for the uniformed. Ask specifically "how they build up your scars." If there is any talk of pigment, you are being conned.Perhaps they have some magical talent I am not aware of. I know there are medical procedures off the street in the EU provided by anyone, but this is a new one. Many would be going to their tattoo parlor instead of a derm or plastic surgeon if they could magically avoid filler, and subcision. Otherwise we are speaking in marketing - lies.
