Ive had this acne scar for over 6 months now and its very frustrating. I just started applying some scar cream on it, but havent seen any difference. Anyone faced this problem as well? Also what is it? Its a scar, but at the same theres a bump and dark spot next to it.
@vk88001Hard to tell what is is from the picture provided. Closed comedone, cyst, hypertrophic raised scar, etc. A Dermatologist would feel it and observe with a dermascope. If they felt necessary they would send it to a pathology lab.
Find a aesthetics dermatologists also called cosmetic dermatologist nearby. This is not a general dermatologist. Go for a few consultations and pic the provider you like best. They might laser it, inject it with steriod or they may use electro surgery on it to shave it down. At home you can put silicone scar patches over it nightly. Sunscreen during the day.
