I still have acne scars after 5 rounds of subsicion,tca cross and microneedling. The last one was 2 weeks ago,I did suction but I was getting the feeling that they look worse after which is weird because from what I read the majority of people say that it is lifting the scars. I™m not sure what to do next, I am thinking of getting laser but I really don™t know which one to choose. I had my subsicions with Doctor Chu (London)and I really recommend him because for a little more than 300£ I got microneedling,subsicion, tca and prp. I see improvements but in certain lights I think it looks pretty bad. The scars that bothers me more are the rolling scars on my right side. On my left I only have some ice pick and boxscars (I am still not sure if tca helps).
I™ve attached some photos with different angles and lighting for my right side. I have days when I barely can see them, I had to show pictures to the doctor with my scars in bad lighting because he wasn™t seeing any rolling scar. In picture 4 I have makeup ( I usually can see the scars better with makeup on). Any recommendations for future treatments?
Chu is good, I can barley tell you have scars after all that work. It's just slight textural scarring at this point, ... I can tell alot is done. Chu does not do filler. I would have done Sculptra throughout the cheeks and done rf needling afterwards (4sessions) for texture. I don't see any deep pits, ... it's mainly large pores and surface texture. I would look into getting erbium resurfacing (no grids marks), or a series of peels for the texure. The pits on the left cheek look like they are not subcised yet?? I would also do paint on tca inside of the pits (Let the acid dry and re-apply in the pit 3x ) - I would do several sessions of this with you. Chu does not really do textural treatments or laser as you know, ... we have some recommendations in the FAQ.
I do also see you needing some vascular laser for the red areas.
@Florina994Yes I would do more subcision. The problem with Chu is he does not use filler. I really do think sculptra throughout the scarred area and rf needling OR 3-7% CO2 (low density at full power) would help (you have Intracel in London med spa's), you can treat as you have time and money.Suction is great for deep pits, but does not work well for texture. Eventually you want to get to a place of peels or a deep erbium laser resurfacing. If you need at home solutions goto the FAQ - see the tca section, click the mega link. You need to spot peel your scars. I think paint on some of the pits would be best (instructions there). Resurfacing is always last. HA filler can be used on individual scars to touch up individual areas but if too superficial it must be done with care. Skin Booster's are another option, for texture it's done in Europe, but does not have the lasting power of some of the other things.

Everything is optional, ... I know Chu just does his program, you might have to look elsewhere (Medspa's / expert injectors).

I wouldn™t mind scars on someone else, but we are our worst critics and I still have days when I feel depressed because of them.

Hey yeah I believe their using Juvederm. Yes its a long journey indeed! Im probably a year out before I see any results whats so ever. Where are you from?

What fillers did you get please? are you located in germany ?
