Does anyone know if theres any good doctor around Boston area that performs TCA Cross, subcision and bellafill?
There are three places I have checked out online which are: Boston Acne Specialists, Dermatology institute of Boston, Dr.Shanthalas medical spa.
The review for Boston acne specialists bothers me but they do provide very comprehensive treatment and Dr. Edwin Ishoo is a plastic surgeon that performs surgical procedure.
Dermatology institute if Boston seems a decent place but they dont offer permanent filler but they do localized subcision which is not listed online. And my guess they are on the pricier side but dont exactly know for sure.
Dr.Shanthala does offer comprehensive treatments. But its said that she is a board certified aesthetician not a dermatologist.

Anybody can offer me some advice? Really appreciate it!

You don't want permanent filler, ... permanent filler equals permanent problems. Most people do HA several times to see if they like filler.

I know a doctor oversees the clinic, ... inquire more by calling. We had a member who went there and said they do have "board" certified drs.

I always advise to goto 3 doctors for consultation even if you have to pay. You will be spending thousands on treatment, might as well be confident in who is doing that treatment. It's incredibly hard to find subcision, that is why her clinic was listed as a courtesy. Try plastic suergon's and dermatology teaching schools as well.

Hmmm a board certified aesthetician cannot do laser or medical procedures like subcision, they must at least be a nurse. Perhaps inquire further. You cannot call yourself "Dr" if you not licensed too so that does not make since with the above ^.

Hi Thanks for your kind reply! @beautifulambition
By saying know a friend oversees the clinic, which clinic exactly do you mean? Could you share more information?

From Dr.Shanthalas website hey are saying Dr. Shanthala Shivananjappa is a board-certified, Harvard trained anesthesiologist, assistant professorat Yale University, and staff at Massachusetts General Hospital prior to opening her cosmetic medicine clinic. and she is a physician. Does this sound legit? Im an international student, doctor titles in the US confuses me a lot.

And do you still remember who went there and says they have board certified doctors? Thanks!

She is a legit doctor. Some doctors start in open heart and move into pediatrics *children. Is this her fulltime gig, ... ask what other training she had. How many patients of your type she has treated. Lots of questions in the FAQ to ask during a consultation.

Please goto a consultation as I recommended above with 3 doctors and see how you feel.

It means a nurse (she is not) can open a clinic under the direction of a DR. They already are doing expert injections daily.

She is board certified if she is a Anesthesiologist, ... think about it you have to be to do this in surgeries
