3 days ago you wrote me about secret rf settings. So i went yesterday to plastic surgeon and ask for it.He said that he doesn't have my personal settings but he gave the settings that usally use in face for all people.

So here we go:

Face:rf 250ms,3.5mm neddle,D time 330ms

Scars in cheeks:rf 200ms,2.5mm,D time 280ms

Forehead:rf 150ms,1.5mm needles,D time 230ms,intesity 50%

I dont understand nothing from those settings.

The problem is the red holes(like pores)from needles that left me from secret rf since 2017.

@sofaki90greeceThank you.

The Dr ruined your face. 3.5mm .... why would someone one do such a thing, it destroys the fat at that depth. He would have been fine between .75mm to 2mm depending on the depth of the scars. The energy is also way to high and can destroy fat.

He does not know how to use the device, hence your damage.

I gave you a plan above, ... you need manual subcsion and filler, many of them 😉

Is it possible for you to travel to UK or Denmark? You live in Greece, that's a relatively short flight for you.

Go see one of the top surgeons listed on the FAQ sticky thread on this forum. Sure, it might cost more, but the human cost is so much more if you visit a doctor that isn't proficient in scar treatments. I don't think Greece is renowned for scar treatments. Visit Chu or Emil.

Those RF settings sound very aggressive and I wouldn't want that on my face. And most severe acne scars sufferers are not great at healing so this just doesn't make any sense.

Hopefully the grid marks slowly subside over the next 6-12 months.

I think with your next consultation and treatment advice record a copy of what treatment is going to be offered and then ask Beautiful Ambition before you proceed. For example, BA would have immediately raised a red flag for such high RF settings.

All the best and it does make me angry hearing stories such as this. I actually thought 3mm was the maximum for RF. 3.5 is insane.

Hi! I had my RF Microneeding combined with CO2 Fraxel for the last 3 weeks. I've noticed that the 2nd session leaves more scars on my face compare to the 1st session (also combined). I found more smooth skin on the first but become worst in the 2nd session. Noted , the doctor used 3mm depth in the 2nd session. What you can say about it?

@Rosielyn Next time could you make your own post please ;-), as this is someone else's... This is irresponsible of the Dr, we do not combine rf needling and co2! This would cause bulk heating damage, fat loss, or worsening of scars. Find another Dr. Combo treatments often cause this issue by Dr's who are negligent. The skin is slow to heal and needs 3 months between procedures. I don't know why any Dr' would combine these in one procedure unless you let them I suppose. Separate things out. Scar treatment is not by device but customized for your scar type. Manual methods are always done first - before energy devices that have side effects!

3MM is dangerous - that can be the fat layer.

About a month ago, I did RF microneedling, and have generally had good results. However, I do notice some faint grid or track marks from the microneedles. If you look closely, you can see the grid where the needles went in, and there are pinpoint shallow scars (not hypertrophic raised papule scars). They are not huge, but you can tell they are like small icepick scars or pores in a patterned grid formation

I'm wonder ifthese resolve over time? And is there any way to improve healing to avoid this, or get this to heal faster after future treatments? Thank you

Can you give an update on the grid marks?

I had RF Microneedling and the "grid marks/spots" did go away within a week.

Re: settings, the device was Intracel at Level 5, and my guess is that the .8 mm pass was too shallow for the bonier parts of the face. As such, the energy may have hit the epidermis and created the grid marks. Glad to know they will fade though.

Is this how one gets new scars from Genius? Too much energy delivered superficially?Did you get something other than Retin A and high spf for these? Do you know if non ablative laser is a good choice for treating scars from RF Genius? Thanks

1. With insulation timing is everything. If one delivers the pulse in timing at deeper depths all good. But if the Specialist pulses as the needle is coming out or entering skin, collateral epidermal damage occurs.

And what happens if one delivers high energy like 60 mj very superficially? Will it also damage the epidermis and cause scarring and hyperpigmentation?
